Our feeding is taking place again!
The rutting season is over, and our wildlife feeding sessions will once again take place at the usual time of 2:30 PM on open days.
Here, you can observe all the animals in the open enclosure up close, including our red deer, fallow deer, mouflons, pygmy goats, and donkeys.
We look forward to welcoming many visitors!

Christmas market at Wildpark Aurach

Experience a serene and romantic Advent afternoon at Wildpark Aurach, featuring hearty and sweet delicacies, mulled wine, punch, and much more.
Enjoy a guided feeding session in the petting barn at 1:30 p.m., followed by our wildlife feeding at the feeding area at 2:30 p.m.
This festive afternoon will be accompanied by enchanting music to set the holiday mood.

Our employee Janine successfully passed her final exam as a zookeeper with distinction last week. After her studies in Innsbruck, she decided to pursue her apprenticeship through a second-chance education program while working. We are very proud and extend our heartfelt congratulations 💞💞💞
Rutting season!
The rutting season has started at our Wildlifepark.
During this season it is necessary to follow our visitor rules and stay on the walk ways and also don't get too close to our majestic deer.
From mid September until mid November - our daily feeding can't take place any more as a safety measurement for our visitors!
Owl wedding at the Wildpark Aurach
A few weeks ago we welcomed our 2nd Sibirian eagle owl 'Antares' to our Wildpark.
Our eagly owl lady 'Lotti' was really nosy about her new 'husband' and we are hopping for little ones next year :)

Mufflon Schafe
In September, new female mouflon sheep have arrived at our Wildpark. Our male mouflons were really happy to see new ladies in the park.

Baby allarm with our reared by hand ibex Lara
Lara, our female ibex that got reared by us by hand, from the 2nd day onwards when she was born, gave birth to a cute little ibex baby called Sarah.
Sarah came later than the other ibex babies this year but she is doing really find and we are proud to have her with us :)
Snow owl chick Frederike
Our two snow owls Harry & Hedwig are really happy about their little chick Frederike <3
Frederike is doing well. She was born in July 2024 and is really curious about everything around her.
Baby Bennett-Kangoroo
Also our Kangaroos are super proud to have a little Kangaroo-Baby amongst them since summer. Have you seen it peak out of its momys pouch yet? :)

Grander Water
New since Winter 2024
All our animals & visitors are provided with aspecial 'Grander water' from now on.
Our in-house mountain spring has been equipped with water revitalization devices from the company Grander, based in Jochberg, to further enhance the drinking quality of the water.

'Workplace: Nature - Three strong Women from Tyrol.'
On March 3, 2024, our owner, Andrea Pletzer-Gasser, was featured on ORF in the program Erlebnis Österreich (“Experience Austria”) titled “Workplace: Nature – Three Strong Women from Tyrol.” The program can still be viewed anytime on the ORF TV library!
The show follows three Tyrolean women in their nature-based workplaces: one draws strength from forest bathing, another feels a deep connection with the Swiss stone pine, and the third gets up close with majestic wild animals—a true Erlebnis Österreich production by Katharina Kramer. (Source: ORF)
